DIR EN GREY - Day 2

Early Friday morning, I was so tired.
My body ached, and I was itching to just move around for a bit.
It was around 4am when this girl in line asked me if I could take a walk with her around the area to look for a bathroom and place to buy some food.
I said okay - told my friend to save my spot in line, and went with her.
We walked down the block and across the street to this 50's diner where I ordered a Cafe' Mocha. Only, it tasted like chocolate 。°(。>_<。)°。

When I was there, I ran into this guy who I always see at concerts.
He's so annoying, and never fails to recognize me.
I hid out in the corner on this giant red sofa, hoping that I wouldn't be noticed.
Luckily, he was seated at a table...far...FAR AWAY \(>о<)/

When I got back to the line, the sun had started to rise, and the air was a bit damp.
I was worried that it would rain - because like the genius I am, I forgot to take my umbrella.
However, it didn't and it slowly started to get hot!

Time went by and when 3pm came around, we saw a giant orange tour bus park right along the curb. I think the band was trying to figure out how to get past all of the people in line, because they drove around the club three times, before finally parking and coming out one by one. We crazy Americans intimidate them ヾ(@^▽^@)ノ

I was able to take some pictures and a video!
The guitarist is so cute haha ~ he looked like he stumbled a bit when he was walking inside.

You can see the video above o(^_^)o

When it was time for doors to open - people started rushing and ran down the wooden steps where the entrance was. Nobody honored the number system that had been forced upon us and there was a whole lot of cutting! ヽ(°皿°O)
I was # 13 and there were people who were #54 ahead of me!
I got angry and pushed my way to the front of the line.
My friends did the same. When we did, some stupid girls started a ruckus and claimed they had been there overnight.....LIES! ALL LIES!! ヽ(°皿°O)
I made friends with almost everyone that was there that night, and I clearly did not remember them. I think they realized that I was serious and backed off - which was good for them, because at that point I was NOT in the mood.
I seem like a B**** but when you're in line for 28 hours - you lose the very little patience that you have.

The concert staff came by to stamp our hands and scan our tickets.. I ran to the front, where the stage was. I think I jumped over a flight of stairs. I'm not even sure how many of them there were exactly. I just remember feeling like Superman, haha! ヾ(*∋∀∈*)ノ

The band took forever to come out! They had no opening band, so it was about an hour and a half before we heard the roadies tuning their instruments.
People were growing restless.
When the giant screen started to lift up, people roared with excitement.
I could feel my chest pressed up against this huge metal bar that was at front of the stage, and some guy humping my back ヾ(。´□`)ノ
GROSS!!!!

Nevertheless, I had fun! My friends and I got separated, because they couldn't handle the heat of the crowd. They left to watch the rest of the show from afar.
By the time it ended, I was half dead o(X_X))o
My hair was ravaged and my clothes were soaked from all of the water that the bassist kept on throwing at us.
Needless to say, I was walking like a cripple from that dude pressed up against my back from so long o(>_<))o
I sat down at the front entrace of the club, waiting for my friends and we made our way home.
We decided not to camp out in line again since it was a bad area, and with the way things had worked the last time - you could pretty much show up 10 minutes before the concert and get rail.

DAY 3 & 4 COMING SOON!!
2009.11.2410:26

DIR EN GREY - Day 1

My trip to Los Angeles began on Thursday morning.
I woke up about 20 minutes late, and finished packing all of my clothes.
I rushed out of the door, almost forgetting my tickets - and had to run back inside to grab them. I'm such a spazz (≧~≦)))”

I got to the station just in time!
The bus was just about to leave!
That would have been horrible (;>人<)

We made rest stops in a few cities, including one called "Delano".
It has a very bad reputation, and the crime is at an all-time high.
There is a county jail that seems to be quite famous.
It's overcrowded - and many "bad apples" are housed inside the facility.

When it was time for the people to get on-board, I looked outside of the window.

.....THEY WERE PRISONERS!!! o(°о° ) o

OH NO!!! I sank down in my seat as the guards removed their handcuffs.
Apparently, they had just been released from prison, and were now on their way home.
They are given clothes, some money, and a bus ticket.
I suppose this is what I get for being cheap, and using the Greyhound instead of the Amtrak...
I'm a college student with a limited money supply ┐(´д`)┌

Nevertheless, the trip from there on out went smoothly.
When I got off in Long Beach, my behind was sore and felt like a pancake!

A friend that I happened to meet at a concert last year offered to pick me up, and let me stay at her house. At least I didn't have to pay for a hotel.
It was convenient, but her parents smoke - so the whole time as I was sleeping, I could feel a pain in my chest from inhaling the toxins for so long.
I never knew that pure, clean air made that much of a difference (○_○;)

Despite their bad habits, they were very nice people.
I thank them from the bottom of my heart for treating me so kindly.
My friend's dad is a brilliant cook!
I felt ashamed at that point to be a woman ~ haha! XD

It was about 8pm on Thursday when we decided to drive by the House of Blues in West Hollywood to see how long the line for the concert was.
(Keep in mind that the concert wasn't until Friday night, so people were waiting for a good 24 hours.)
There were already 10 people ahead of us, so we stayed there to hold a spot.

Sunset Strip is horrendous! ((((;゚Д゚)))
I didn't expect it to be that bad. I guess I've been away for too long.
There happened to be a reggae concert at the HOB that night.
It was about midnight when all of the hobos and tweakers started showing up.

Hobo - homeless person

Tweaker - drug addict

Stoner - person who does marijuana

As we were in line, people kept on coming up to us and asked what we were waiting for.
I said "DIR EN GREY" over 100 times, and finally got fed up with explaining who they were.
So when this stoner guy tapped my shoulder and questioned me I yelled out ...

"OPRAH!!!!!" \(≧□≦)/

His eyes widened and I think he actually took me seriously for a minute, before the roar of laughter from the people in line proved my point.
He walked away...I think he was a bit disappointed haha XD
As he was making his way up the hill that the HOB is situated on, a car with it's headlights turned on drove right past him and he looked totally tripped out.

"Woooow~~!! That's like, bright man~~!"

What a loser (ー_ー#)

After that, this man with a bag of balloons and a tank stood right next to us.
He kept on yelling out "The first one's on me! At 1 o'clock we'll be raging!"
At first, my friend didn't realize what he meant and actually thought about going to get a balloon. But when I told her that they were filled with DRUGS she got scared and sat back down.
She actually thought about calling the cops, which would have been useless, since many of them in that part of the city are just as corrput.
I was surprised by how many people ran up to take a balloon.
They looked like normal, everyday people.

To my knowledge, the balloons are filled with this mixture of gas that gives you a head rush when it is inhaled......I figured as much. o(=_=)o
The hill's slope was very narrow and elevated, but not enough to make people stumble around THAT MUCH....

When the balloons popped, they made such a loud noise! I guess it was from the gas inside.
The people in line were standing only about 20 feet from the scene of the crime o(>_<)o
So the bad air traveled our way, and my throat became dry.
It started to burn, and my voice got scratchy for a minute.
I think the fumes and lack of sleep actually got to all of us - because I started to laugh for no reason! O_O;;;;
I found the most trivial things funny, and kept on dancing around in line.
I think I'm sensitive, since I take anxiety medication prescribed by a doctor =_=;;;

People can be so careles......

DAY 2,3, and 4 COMING SOON!!!
I need to upload the pictures I took ε=(ノ;~о~)ノ~~

Miss Boy ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ_彡☆

I get mistaken for a member of the opposite sex.

(((((( ;゚Д゚))))) JEEZO!!!!
*haha wonder where I got this word from?*
I never really noticed it before....*speechless*

I absolutely, positively, HATE my cheeks! No matter what angle I shoot from - they make me look pudgy ~ it seems that I never grew out of my baby fat.
Maybe that means that I'm a child at heart? hahaha XD

In other news...I woke up at 3am last night, with an idea for a poem.
However, it was terribly dark in my room, and as I was stumbling around looking for a pen and piece of paper - the verse slipped my mind.
NOOOO!!!! (p>□<q))

Now, I'm stuck with the bits that I can remember, but that doesn't help.
I have to find a way to finish it, so I can move on with my life.
Whenever I leave a piece of work unfinished, I go crazy!
It eats away at me like some sort of virus, and I can't sleep.
Yeah I know, maybe it seems strange.
I call it a curse! o(>_<)o

That essence of love,
Spins around in my head.
Pulling strings out of my heart,
I falter instead.

Any feedback would be very much appreciated....well, unless it's something horrible like "you totally suck, and should get a part-time job instead" LOL! XD
I'm not exactly sure where I'm going with this yet, but hopefully it will turn out halfway decent.

The other day, my grandmother made "Menudo"....

NO!!! NOT RICKY MARTIN!! v(>o<)v
haha~ it's a Mexican dish made with pork meat, red chile, and corn *hominy*.
So tasty!

menudo.jpg
menudo2.jpg

Sorry!! I didn't mean to torture you with it's tastyness! XP

I like Menudo, but I LOVE Pozole!
It's the ultimate comfort food.
Pozole on a cold winter day, with a hot cup of coffee really soothes my soul =3

I am hungry.

Confuzzled O_o???

Today I woke up at 2pm!!! O_O;;;
I actually would have slept in longer, if it wasn't for my mom.
She rolled me out of bed and started cleaning my room.
She can't stand a mess.
I think she suffers from OCD....Obsesseive Cleaning Disorder! LOL!!
Talk about invasion of privacy!! o(>_<)o

Once we were all showered up and ready to go , we headed for the mall =)
But on the way, we got side-tracked by a huge "70% OFF!!" sign out in the distance.
We immediately made a right turn and went inside, haha!

I was able to find some good deals on things that are normally really expensive.
For example, everybody knows the rock group KISS, right? ^^
Well they recently came out with their own line of perfume for men and women!
I was able to find that SO CHEAP! So I bought them ALL!!!!! I'm so greedy XD
I even bought Kiss: For Men, even though I'm a woman O_O
But it smells so nice and fresh, so I don't care! I'll wear it!!

smallkiss.jpg

I also recommend this other fragrance called "Haiku", which is sold by Avon.
It's wonderful, my favorite! o(^_^)o
I can't really handle strong, floral perfume - because I have seasonal allergies.
My mom wears those, and everytime she passes me by, I sneeze! O_O;;;
So this one is great - it's simple and elegant~!

smallhaiku.jpg

Something funny happened to me today XD

Once in a while, I like to shop around in the boy's section of clothing stores.
*Yeah I know, maybe I'm strange* o(=_=)o
As I was looking around, an older woman passed me by and said "excuse me son"

.......SON?!!?!! ((( *゚д゚)))

What?! Do I really look like a boy?!!

Well.....perhaps...
I have short, and messy hair...plus I was wearing ripped jeans and a band T-shirt.
Ahhh!! I must be more careful!!! o(__ __)o I feel so ashamed.
I just hope I was a cute boy...and not a geeky loser hahahaha!

I am going to the store.

It's raining ~ it's pouring ♪♪

Last night I fell asleep for 10 minutes, before suddenly waking up with the urge to SNEEZE!
After that, I couldn't go back to bed - so I got online for a bit, but then my eyes started to sink down, and I could feel my body go weak.
I turned my PC off and knocked out as soon as my head hit the pillow!!! XD
I woke up feeling a little better. My head finally stopped spinning, and I had a bit of energy.
I went to school, and got through class normally.

However, I was waiting around at Starbucks *as I always do*, and I could start to feel the pressure between my eyes again o(=_=)o

OH NO!!! ヽ(o`皿′o)ノ

My mom finally picked me up - only to say that I smelled like coffee *DUH!* haha
She's such a natural blonde =P
I was sneezing throughout the whole car ride home ==;;; *so gross*
My body felt so heavy, and I just threw myself onto the bed.
Ahhhh....I wish I could just sleep all day ♪♪

I was supposed to go to the doctor, but sadly, they were too packed.
So I have to go next week ==;; *lame*

I was told that I had Sinusitis when I went to an allergy specialist last year.
They took X-rays of my head, and made me put my nose up against a white wall O_o;;;
Maybe they just wanted to have some fun with me? hmmm IDK haha

The change in weather might have triggered it.
It's been raining all day ~ and I think it might be the same way tomorrow.
I can see no stars in the sky, because the clouds have covered them all up ==;;

In other news, I'm a bit worried about my trip to LA.
I hope I'm not sick, or else I'll have a miserable time.
Camping out in line is not fun when your shivering like a Chihuahua XD
I only wish I could take my BFF with me, but alas, distance is a bitch.
Who decided that America and Japan be separated by a giant body of water anyway?
